Sean and Kacie are going off the grid…
Kind of. In the pursuit of a more minimalist (yet more fulfilling) lifestyle, we are trading in most of the comforts of modern life for a more “rustic” way of living the American Dream. This dream involves a tiny camper, two little doggies, and a whole new way of doing things.
Sean and I met in Pittsburg, Kansas and currently reside in and around the mountains of Denver, Colorado. Both of us have abandoned the traditional 9-5 workweek and daily commute in order to enjoy more passion-aligned professions that cater to this nomadic lifestyle.
We live minimally, we live simply, but we live adventurously.
Some of Sean’s favorite hobbies include dunking on poor souls at basketball courts around the city, creating tasty licks on the guitar, and biking the terrain wherever we are camped. I enjoy writing short stories that I have a hard time finishing, reading anything from Jane Austen to H.P. Lovecraft, and complaining about biking the terrain wherever we are camped.
When we aren’t trekking through the mountains together, we are working on an endless array of projects in our tiny house camper. It is “vintage,” after all…
Such projects range from gutting and replacing whole cabinets, to building a little pedal-powered washing machine.
We might even install a composting toilet.
Life is a journey, an adventure, and we only get one. So, Sean and I have decided to live ours rustically. We choose to be as as free as we can be. Free from the constraints and comforts of modern society, while embracing the excitement that accompanies the rugged unknown.
